FOCUS: THE COMPANY YOU KEEP
TEXT: Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.'” – 1 Corin 15:33 (NIV)

In life’s journey, the company we keep profoundly shapes our character. Just as iron sharpens iron, the wrong companions can dull our moral compass. They may lead us astray from our values, aspirations, and ultimately, from God’s path for us.

Choosing the right company aligns with God’s wisdom. Surround yourself with those who uplift and inspire, who encourage righteousness and growth. Seek friendships grounded in faith, where accountability and support flourish. In fellowship with like-minded believers, we find strength to resist temptation and courage to stand firm in our convictions.

Today, reflect on your companions. Are they leading you closer to God or away from His light? Prayerfully consider the influence of your relationships and commit to nurturing those that nurture your soul.

Note: The company one keeps defines what accompanies him as the people we follow also determines what eventually follows us.

Prayer: Father, empower me to detach from all forms of ungodly friendship, relationship and corrupt companies, in Jesus name.
