FOCUS: THE FIGHT OF FAITH
TEXT: 1 Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.”

The fight of faith is a spiritual battle that requires perseverance and trust in God’s abilities. Paul encourages us in 1 Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.”

This battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Our weapons are not physical but spiritual, mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

To fight effectively, we must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-17): the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Through prayer and the Word of God, we stand firm. Hebrews 12:2 urges us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” In Him, we find strength and victory. Be blessed.

Note: The fight of faith is a must for everyone who wants to remain on the Lords side.
