FOCUS: WE ARE REDEEMED AS SPIRITUAL EAGLES

TEXT: :Isa 40:31 “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired” (AMP)

 

Eagle is known as king of the birds because it accomplishes unimaginable feats and scales unbelievable heights beyond the mountains. The eagle’s symbol is greatness. Did you know that while most birds hide away from storms and wind, the eagle is greatly delighted in stormy winds with lightning and thunder. The storms which pulls down buildings among men give eagle the greatest pleasures of all time. It does not flap its wings to fly instead, it locks the wings, picks the air thermal, thrusts upwards and then begins to soars unimaginable heights through storms and thunders.

But no eagle is born tough, the mother-eagle makes a fearless eagle out of a weak eaglet through rigorous training. So as believers who want to accomplish the unimaginable, we must understand that every beautiful project out there was once a raw material but through effortless and tireless commitment, it became a beauty to behold. If we must reign as kings that we have been redeemed to be, then rigorous efforts must be made towards achieving it.The moment an athlete stops training, he ‘ll begin to loose relevance-1Cor9:24.

 

When an eagle can no longer apply the tricks learnt from its mother-eagle, it becomes an ordinary bird in the forest. The winds and storms must come with lightning, only those who wait for the Lord, look for and hope in Him will gain new strength and renew their power and lift up their wings and soar higher like the eagles that we are redeemed to be. Every challenge ahead of you shall bring out the very best in you, like the eagle, you will not struggle against the winds and storms. Every issue of concern will result to your upward lifting. The fear of others shall be your glory in Jesus name.
