FRIDAY 19TH JANUARY,2018
FOCUS: *BE WATCHFUL
Text: Matthew 26:41 (NIV) “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

The devil does not come to you with red or black terrifying face and long horns but rather,he comes as everything you’ve ever wanted and prayed in life. He comes as your God-sent and quick answer to that lingering problem with enough scriptures to back up his offers-Matt:3,6,8-9.

“But test them all; hold on to what is good”1 Thessalonians 5:21 NIV. How do I test them you may ask,our God is patient-driven in all His ways,whatever suggests a shortcut approach as an alternative is not God-motivated- “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised”(Hebrews 10:36 NIV)

That an idea is scriptural does not make it scripturally genuine. The devil often misinterprets the scriptures to sale his devious agendas to the care-free ones- “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
(Genesis 3:1 KJV)

May you be always awake,spirit soul and body to identify and resist the evil one. Any trap the devil has set to ruin your whole life with,is scattered in Jesus name. You will not lose contact with the Holy Spirit of God,you will begin to enjoy the fellowship with God Almighty like never before in Jesus name.

Take this last word : UNTIL YOU BECOME WATCHFUL, YOUR PRAYERS MAY NOT BE RESULTFUL.
